Garden Update

The leaves are a bit the worse for wear, but this is a lovely peach nasturtium

Peach Melba blossoms hiding in the lovely green leaves

Callas have come back vigorously

Clematis is flowering strongly, but the vine is kind of....puny

A couple of my black-eyed susan vine seeds finally came up! They're a bit buried in the alyssum, but they're there.

Mint has come alive.

Pansies, violas, and johnny-jump-ups are doing well, despite the constant digging of squirrels and chipmunks

Removed the wire from the tomato - it is cautiously stretching out

Raspberry growing vigorously - hoping for fruit next year

This dahlia won't bloom until fall.

This one is blooming!

I really shouldn't buy a new camera just to take pictures of flowers...

Still kind of sad I bought the wrong color and so don't have the lovely color-changing daisies of last year, but these are lovely too

Buds on the zinnias, although they're still not very high.

Garden Update: The Neurotic Clematis

This is my neurotic clematis. Instead of being a vine, it prefers to grow in ever-more-tangled circles at the base of the shepherd's hook. When I try to gently wind the vines up the pole, it shrieks "AUUUUUGH HUMAN HANDS HAVE TOUCHED ME" and the ends die. Seriously, see that dead bit in the background? Weird.

Dahlia bud!

I can't quite convince myself to purchase a better camera solely to take better photos of flowers but...there's a lot of delicate purple detail in the center that is missed.

Tomatoes! Soon!
